An expertly mixed brew of R&B, alterna7ve, soul, funk, and pop, the music of FARR could surge through fes7val grounds just as seamlessly as it could soundtrack a late-night rendezvous or circle around a bonfire. Bringing a magne7c mood to life, silky vocals, deEly plucked chords, cinema7c strings, and an7cipatory horns drip over rich beats. Meanwhile, collaborators Roméo [vocalist, multi-instrumentalist] and GRAMMY® Award- nominated Linden Jay [producer, multi-instrumentalist] creatively finish one another’s sentences. A soaring falsetto responds to a slick riff, while a gentle croon offsets a distinct bass thump. Ultimately, a confluence of sound, style, and spirit underlines the duo’s 2024 independent EP and much more to come.

Since 2019, the collaborators and friends have carefully honed their collective identity. Based in London, Linden’s discography as a producer and songwriter has grown to encompass music for everyone from Joji and Duke Dumont to Flatbush Zombies, Chlöe, J. Cole, and James Bay. He also notably garnered a GRAMMY® Award nod in the category of “Record of the Year” for co-producing and co-writing the double-platinum Hot 100 Top 10 smash “Woman” for Doja Cat. Meanwhile, classically trained Costa Rica-born and Los Angeles- raised Roméo has lent his voice to cuts by superstars such as Joey Bada$$, Erick The Architect, Gorgon City, and more. Not to mention, they notably penned, produced, and featured on Erick The Architect’s “Let It Go” [feat. Loyle Carner] together.

“It’s my voice,” explains Linden. “The name ‘FARR’ was originally an acronym for, ‘Feels about right, right?’ This phrase defines the band. If it doesn’t feel right, it’s not FARR. With this EP, it definitely feels right though.”
